France-Canada travel market gets boost with partnership between Air Canada, Corsairfly and Nouvelles Frontières

Air Canada and Corsairfly today announced a commercial partnership that will strategically strengthen their respective positions in the travel market between France and Canada. The commercial partnership provides for reciprocal codesharing on each carrier's France-Canada flights, streamlined access to Air Canada's network for Corsairfly customers, and enhanced presence in the French market for Air Canada as a preferred carrier through the Nouvelles Frontières Group that owns France's largest travel agency network. It is estimated that approximately one million passengers travel each year between the two countries.

Air France launches new transatlantic flight

Further to the announcement on 17 October of the signing of the joint venture agreement with the US carrier Delta, Air France is now pleased to confirm that its new transatlantic flight from London-Heathrow to Los Angeles is on sale today.

This daily flight will be operated by a Boeing 777 as from March 2008.

Passengers will be able to choose from the Economy (Tempo), Business (Espace Affaires) or First (Espace Première) cabin.

Palokangas loves French, travel

Claire is a member of the National Honor Society, French Club, Rotary, band, yearbook and drama. She also plays clarinet in the pit band.
